Travel Guide
Welcome to the conference! Most international participants will arrive at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) in Jakarta. To reach the ITB campus in Bandung, please choose from the following transportation options:
1. Whoosh High-Speed Rail

(source : kcic.co.id)
Travel Time: ~45 minutes (train only) + 30 minutes transit.
Departure: Halim Station, Jakarta.
Arrival at ITB: Take the train to Padalarang Station.
Switch to the Feeder Train (included in your ticket) to Bandung Station (City Center).
From Bandung Station, ITB is a short 10–15 minute taxi/Grab ride away.
Booking: Whoosh Official Website or the Whoosh App.
2. Direct Airport Shuttle

This is the most convenient option as it avoids transferring luggage between trains and taxis.
Travel Time: 3–4 hours (depending on traffic).
Departure: Direct from Soekarno-Hatta Airport (all terminals).
Recommended Operators for ITB: City Trans, Jackal Holidays. These have drop-off points very close to the ITB area (Pasteur / Dipatiukur).
Primajasa, Xtrans, DayTrans: Reliable alternatives with various drop-off points.
3. Regular Train (KAI)

(source: traveloka.com)
Travel Time: ~2 hours 50 minutes.
Departure: Gambir Station, Jakarta (Reach this via DAMRI bus or taxi from the airport).
Arrival: Bandung Station. From here, ITB is just 3km away.
Booking: KAI Official Website or KAI Access app.
Quick Tips for ITB Visitors:
Traffic Alert: Friday afternoons and holiday weekends can significantly increase travel time by road. If you are arriving during these times, the Whoosh or Regular Train is highly recommended to avoid highway congestion.
Local Transport: Once in Bandung, the easiest way to get to the ITB gate is via Grab or Gojek (download the apps in advance).
Station Choice: If taking the Whoosh, do not get off at Tegalluar; it is very far from ITB. Always choose Padalarang and use the Feeder Train to reach the city center.
